Motion R6 EUDC 2008

"This House believes developed countries should not accept skilled migrants from developing countries."

Great motion, that is: the judges are whistling in appreciation.

This is one of Dim's motions which he ran at Limerick two years ago. Splendid stuff.

appreciation whistle also on my side...

I should add that at the time it was just about not accepting doctors. Skilled migrants makes it a lot more about principled economic arguments.

Like last year, the motions have been really great. I kind of hope they get a little more wacky for the outrounds, though.

Good motion.

What does a whistle of appreciation look like when written down?

Liz: Try to pronounce an "f-sound" and an "s-sound" at the same time. That's about it.
