Motion R3 EUDC 2008

"This House would use military force where necessary to deliver emergency aid."

And we are still almost on time, running 12 minutes (!) behind the schedule.

Awesome! Now, that's a GREAT motion: topical and with plenty of pros and cons. Oh man, how I miss debating...

btw, my regards to Isa.

Yeah that is a very good motion. I'm even more angry now that i couldn't be there! Damn.

Only a German could say that 12 minute behind at n IV (and Euros at that!) was 'late' in any way!

Another good motion :). CAing team are doing well.

Thanks for posting all of this. You are making life for those left behind in non-EUDC-world easier! :-)

And give my support to Markus and Karen when you see them.

Thanks for posting.

I'm thinking that this was a Sam motion...

Hi anonymus, I'm guessing that Isa also had a major say in this motion. The debate I saw was excellent.

Also, Liz, I specifically didn't say we were late. Because we weren't!

No, you said 'almost on time', a synonym for 'late' (it just took me 6 attempts to spell synonym. English is a stupid language)

;0) J/k

Either way, only 12 mins is damned impressive - even more so for a huge tournament.

Did most teams run this as Burma, somewhere else or in principle, out of curiosity? I saw it and thought 'Burma' but I've read a blog where a person was complaining (unreasonably, in my view) about that definition.
