The motion for round 3 is:
"This House would allow Soldiers to sue their governments for negligence."
Amongst the many entertaining pairings for this round, here are two amusing ones:
Cambridge A
Cambridge B
Oxford A
Queensland (don't know which team)
Monash A
Monash B
Sydney A
Bates College A

pretty sure Monash A and B didn't hit each other in Round 3 because they both took 1sts
Monash B took a third. Monash C took a first in round 3.
really thats interesting.
i wonder why they didn't change the draw - seems ridiculous for two teams from same institution to hit each other in round 3 (esp when there are only 3 teams per institution)
might have been the top room+
If the tab is genuinely random, or as random as a tab can be, I don't think the draw should be changed just because the same institution happens to meet each other. I've seen plenty of random draws that have thrown up odd rooms (excessively difficult or excessively easy rooms, for example) but that's the nature of the game. You get what you're given.
